Therapy Donkeys & Animals
We provide assisted therapy sessions with donkeys and miniature ponies for the elderly in care homes and special needs schools.

Donkeys rides and animal parties across England. Sanctuaries in the Worcester, Gloucestershire, South Wales, Cheltenham, Bristol, Oxford, Birmingham, Bath, London, Reading, Swindon, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Coventry and Taunton areas.
Mobile farm animals is based in Avon near Yate, Stroud, Chippenham, Warminster, Salisbury & Newport. Little Party Heaven also works with other reliable and experienced animal charity teams across the UK so we can cover much of England. The main areas we cover are Cotswolds, Cirencester, Swansea, Somerset, Wolverhampton, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and the Midlands. Also Kent, Canterbury and Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Animals for parties options
Children (and adults!) love animals just as much as we do. Our farm animals attend lots of birthday parties, events and also adult parties such as Hen parties with our animals. Also attending schools for education sessions and provide assisted therapy sessions in care homes.

DONKEYS RIDES & FARM PETTING ANIMALS FOR EVENTS
The animals encounter area’s are a very popular attraction at events and fundays. Including Christmas goodwills, fairs, easter fundays and summer events. The donkeys busiest season is Christmas where we also provide donkeys dressed for Christmas plus other nativity farm animals.

- For nativity or petting purposes only 1 donkey for 1 hour
- Nativity animals, x2 donkeys, sheep, goat and other nativity animals
- Easter animals, giant rabbit, lambs, miniature donkey & baby chicks
*Donkeys and farm animals can work 4 hours max. If you book a 5 hour duration then there will be 2x 30min breaks.
*The donkey rides need to be done outdoors.
*Petting farm can be done indoors or outdoors.
*All options require easy access to the set up area.
*The animal’s vehicle needs to be kept in very close proximity. This means near the front door if indoors or alongside them if outdoors.

This is our standard animal birthday party selection. Including a donkey, miniature pony, goats, rabbits & guinea pigs. We can bring sheep too, we can let you know at enquiry stage which animals are available to you and you can also let us know your preferences.

Are the animals safe and well cared for?
Absolutely! All animals are looked after by experienced professionals and are comfortable around children. Their health and wellbeing are always our top priority.
What animals do you bring?
The selection of animals depends on the package you choose. Our petting farm usually features a donkey, mini pony, sheep, goats, or rabbits. The exact animals may vary, so please get in touch for the latest options.
What if a child is nervous or scared?
That’s completely fine. No child is ever pressured to touch or interact with an animal. Watching safely from a distance is always an option.
Who can ride the donkeys?
Only donkeys booked specifically for rides (usually in pairs) are available for riding. The petting farm donkey is not used for rides.
Rider requirements:
Minimum age: 18 months
Maximum height: 4’6” (138 cm)
Maximum weight: 6 stone
Each ride lasts about 5 minutes, including helmet fitting and photos.

Do you work with SEND children or care settings?
Yes! We frequently work with SEND schools, nurseries, care homes, and inclusive events.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We can adapt to both indoor and outdoor setups. Animals can visit indoors, but donkey rides must be outdoors. In poor weather, donkeys remain on their transport for safe petting. Check our animal requirements for full details.
