How much does a children’s entertainer cost?

What changes the price
Three things, mostly:
- The day. Weekdays cost less than weekends.
- The season. Summer and December are our busiest months. Off-peak dates are cheaper.
- How far we travel. We’re based in Stonehouse, near Stroud. Anything beyond about half an hour carries a travel charge.
So a weekday show a few minutes from us costs noticeably less than the same show on a Saturday in July an hour away. Tell us your date, your postcode and roughly how many children, and you’ll get a firm price rather than a range.
What’s included
Every booking comes with an entertainer who arrives early, sets up, runs the fun and clears away afterwards. We carry £5 million public liability insurance, and risk assessments are available on request.
What about DBS checks?
Entertainers aren’t required by law to hold a DBS check, because we’re never left alone with your children — we’re entertainers, not care providers. Most of our team hold one anyway, because we know it puts people at ease, particularly schools. If you need the person coming to you to be DBS checked, tell us when you enquire: we’ll either send someone who already holds one, or arrange a check for them, given enough notice.
How booking works
A booking fee secures your date, and the balance is due 30 days before the event. Outdoor bookings are paid in full when you book, because the weather makes them harder to replace at short notice. Your date only goes in the diary once it’s confirmed and paid.
Where we cover
Stonehouse, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Dursley and Nailsworth, and out along the M5 to Bristol and Worcester. We travel further for events, holiday parks and SEND school work.
